COURSE TITLE: INTERVIEWING SKILLS TRAINING
COURSE LENGTH: TWO DAYS

The two day course on interviewing skills will provide participants with the critical skills and knowledge required to be effective when conducting a selection interview. The participants will have an opportunity to practice the skills during the workshop.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

By the end of this course participants will be able to:

Identify the principles that serve as the basis of effective interviewing.

Develop strategies for establishing rapport with applicants.

Differentiate between acceptable and unacceptable pre employment inquiries.

Identify the key elements of a given job.

During an interview, ask questions that are based on the behavioral interviewing approach.

Identify the five major selection errors that one should be aware of when making selection decisions.

Conduct an interview using the behavioral interviewing process.
