COURSE TITLE: MANAGING CULTURAL DIVERSITY
COURSE LENGTH: ONE DAY

This one-day course will help participants to be more sensitive to the complexities involved with working with individuals from different cultures other diverse backgrounds. This course is designed for managers, supervisors and project leaders.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

The objectives of this workshop are to:

Provide an understanding of the human dynamics that cause problems among people who are different.

Generate sensitivity to cultural, gender and other differences.

Remove the organizational and interpersonal barriers that interfere with working with diverse people.

Identify the reactions to change and their effects on the organization.

Determine effective strategies for dealing with typical problems which occur in a diverse environment.

Identify twelve common areas of misunderstanding when working in a diverse environment.
